NATURAL LEATHER: mouse pad is made of Horween full grain leather of vegetable tanning. During processing these hides are not sanded which allows to preserve the natural strength and durability of the animal skin. Due to veg tanning and all natural coloring solutions leather has pleasant smell, deep color and soft feel. It can outstand years of use and will age nicely, developing natural patina.
SIZE: 7.9 x 9.9 in (20 x 25 сm) – perfect size for a working desk. Not too large but still comfortable to work on.

Leather Type
We use only natural full grain vegetable tanned leather for our items . Mouse pads in particular are made of Horween Leather produced in Chicago, USA.
This leather type is very durable, soft and looks luxurious. With time leather develops natural patina and looks even better.
Pull Up
When full grain leather is stretched or pulled, the color migrates and becomes lighter in the pulled areas. Basically, it happens because oils and waxes are displaced on the surface.
Wrinkles
As full grain leather is not sanded during production it preserves its natural look. Normally, the cow has wrinkles where the skin was bent, like on the neck, near legs etc. These wrinkles are not removed on purpose.
Scars
During its life the animal may get scratches, insects bites or small wounds. As a result of natural healing there remains a scar. These marks are left untouched as required by the technology.

DETAILS: the mouse pad is not lined. At the back there is grainy leather back which ensures firm connection with the surface and prevents slipping. The stitching color is light brown.
PLEASE NOTE: as it is natural leather it will show natural nuances inherent in the material like scars, wrinkles, pull up and moles. These markings are typical for the full grain leather type. They give every piece unique look and are considered a part of natural beauty of the material.
